Contemporary beach house

eco-friendly living / beach house / concept / Netherlands

A beach house is a place for retreat, distancing itself from daily ordeals. Alone it faces the diverse states belonging to the seasons. Experiencing fluidity of the earth, water and sky as time passes by. Interlocking three cubes, the form recreates a scene of coming together, finding shelter, cultivating the element of life.

Beach house is a lightweight modular steel structure that can be put together in spring and placed on top of three concrete pillars. Its outside textile layer is protecting the interior against the sun and provides privacy.
