Concept
Two brothers share one plot for their homes and offices, with a view on the channel. They wanted a design that is easily recognizable and fits in with the other creatives of Rotterdam. The building’s program and shape are a translation of the family’s preference to remain close but independent.
As active citizens they wanted to contribute to the neighbourhood. Together with the community centre they arrange a workshops where their parking entrances are used by the local youth as canvasses to express themselves visibly in the city.
