This is an interior design for startup flex spaces where emerging companies receive support. The organization providing this support is affiliated with the local Technical University, meaning most of the businesses involved are engineering firms.
For the startups, there are two key requirements for the interior. First, they want the freedom to work on various types of projects. This can be software-focused, but often involves hardware, requiring the space to be flexible. Second, marketing is a crucial aspect. They need a space where they can attract clients and potential investors or host events.
This project meets these needs by making the small available space completely flexible. With a hanging system reminiscent of a workshop, this flexibility is supported in a playful manner. This system also challenges the occupants to develop their own additions that suit their personal needs. However, with the basic furniture designed by WeCare, it is already possible to simply personalize the space to suit the occasion.
